Vintage/ Antique Jali Cut Ornate Box

Beautiful ornate brass filigree box.
Made of brass with a pierced filigree design. Most likely made in India.
Potentially used as a betel nut box, or for jewelry or trinkets.
Do not have an exact age date but ranges from the mid-19th century to the early 20th century.
Features a domed lid with a knob and a latch.
The intricate design is handcrafted.

Absolutely stunning. Seems to be nickel plated to me.
Measures approximately 5 1/2” square and approximately 6” from the finial knob to bottom edge.
